The Charm School Dress is a design reminiscent of days when girls attended charm school to learn table manners, how to introduce someone, proper posture, how to sit like a lady, and how to respond to gifts and invitations.
This cute little dress, typical of the charm school dress code of the 50s and 60s, features a lined, double-breasted bodice with a short, puffed sleeve or a sleeveless option (View C), a round collar, a sailor collar, or a scalloped collar with a gathered skirt and back closure.

This PDF sewing pattern by FROG Princess Fashions is design to fit 15" dolls such as Ruby Red Fashion Friends®. This pattern is modeled on Maya, Sara, and Hannah, three of the official Ruby Red Fashion Friends® dolls. Vinyl dolls should not vary in size like some of the soft-bodied dolls.
This pattern is available separately sized to fit 14.5" dolls and 18" dolls.
Recommended Fabrics: Cottons, poly-cottons, rayon, challis, lawn, seersucker, dotted Swiss, polka dots, gingham, calico prints. Not suited for knits.

Fabric
• ¼ yd of lightweight woven fabric (or one fat quarter)
• 1/8 yd of batiste or lightweight woven fabric for collar, cuffs, and (optional) hem bands
• Optional: scraps of very lightweight interfacing for collars and center back

• Thread to match both fabrics
• Four ¼”-⅜” buttons for faux front
• 5” non-snag hook and loop tape

• 16” flat lace for hem (optional)
