Dorel Boots 18" Doll Shoes

Your 18 inch doll will be ready for a hike in the woods and to face the winter snow in style!  This PDF doll boot pattern includes three different lace options and three different heel options. These boots will be perfect for your boy doll too!  Have fun mixing colors and fabrics for different looks. The possibilities are endless!

This PDF sewing pattern by QTπ Pattern Co is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.

This  PDF shoe pattern works with a combination of the two thicknesses of the Pixie Pack SHAPE 1 pre-cut soles (2mm: White, Black, Color 1 or Color 2 - Also 6mm: Black/White Combo, Green/ Purple, or Brown/Tan.) You will need one set of 2mm soles and one set of 6mm soles.

Supplies Needed:

• Upper fabric 6” x 8”(See fabric suggestions)
• Heavy fusible interfacing or Iron-On Fusible Fleece and/or fusible vinyl(See fabric suggestions)
• Vinyl 8” x 8”
• 2mm craft foam- 9” x 6” (or SHAPE 1 pre-cut soles)
• 6mm craft foam- 5” x 5” (or SHAPE 1 pre-cut soles)
• thin box board approximately 1mm (e.g. cereal or cracker box)
• 38” String or nylon cording (laces)
• ¼” two sided tape (scrapbook or quilters tape)
• 16- ⅛” Eyelets(optional eyelet option) OR 8 or 12-10mm jump rings (optional tab option)
• 5” x 5” fabric or scrapbooking paper (optional insole)
• Card stock for printing pattern pieces (optional)
• Fray Away® or similar product (If using fabric for boot upper)
• Scrap of felt of quilting batting (optional faux lining)

Tools Needed:

• Thread and leather needle for your sewing machine
• Teflon® foot (optional)
• Glue gun and glue
• Iron
• Leather punch & eyelet setter or Crop-a-dile®
• Cutting matt, ruler, and X-acto® knife (suggested)
• Gel pen (optional)

NOTE: The bottom foot section should be vinyl.
