With only 4 seams, the Romper is very easy to make. The Bodice is made all-in-one and by using shirring elastic to gather the fabric, a pretty ruffled neckline is formed. Four narrow shoulder straps with knotted ends keep the bodice in place. The Capri-length Pants have an elastic waistband and elastic gathered pant hems echo the neckline ruffle. To accessorize, a soft sash is tied around the waist. This easy pattern is designed to fit 14.5-inch dolls such as WellieWishers™.
The Riviera Romper PDF sewing pattern is available in 3 sizes: 18-20 inch dolls such as American Girl® and Australian Girl®, 14.5" dolls such as WellieWishers™ and 16" A Girl For All Time dolls.

Fabric Used – Quilters’ Cotton, soft Cotton Lawn and Polycotton were used for the Rompers. Stretch Mesh was used for the Waist Sashes.

Ball Point Needle for Stretch Mesh, Stretch Lace (Schmetz®) : Code : 130/705H SUK – 70/10
Matching Thread; Marking Pen; Curved Embroidery Scissors; 2 Safety Pins or Bodkin; general sewing supplies.
A Universal Needle – 80/12, a Ball Point Needle – 70/10, a Walking Foot, a General Purpose Foot and a ¼” Foot are used during the sewing process.
