This topic was originally launched in the month of December, so we focused a bit on the Holiday Sweater project and because it was a traditionally busy month, I thought it would be fun to create a topic filled with fun and easy upcycling projects! There are so many opportunities to use thing we already have to make super adorable doll items. I'm excited to show you a few of my favorite upcycling secrets. The tutorials demonstrated work for clothing pieces that can be worn at any time of year, not just the holidays. See the example images to view some adorable sock sweaters!
Throughout this 4 part topic, we will explore our options and experiment using ready-made things as the basis for your projects. To kick things off, I'll be demonstrating a classic - How to make a darling sweater from a pair of socks! This technique can be used to make sweaters for any time of year, but it's perfect for the Annual Fun and Festive Holiday Sweater Contest!
