Course Overview:
For this course, I'll be joined by Shari Fuller, together we'll present you with a few fun ideas to create a Showtime-themed playlet for your doll collection!
The inspiration for this themed-course is the 2023 Girl of the Year doll, Kavi Sharma®. Our focus is adding a bit of glitz & glam with a few show-stopping pieces and creating a few prop-style furniture pieces to truly set the scene, providing hours of pretend play!

In Part One, I will talk about sewing with sequined fabrics. In my opinion, sequins are the centerpiece of any stage garment. Together,. we'll make a sparkly blazer as I share my tips and tricks for sewing success.

In Part Two & Three, Shari joins us with a pretty genius tutorial! Using cardboard, paper, paint, glue, and a few decorative hardware pieces, she has created an amazing up cycled design for a traveling steamer trunk! It's completely functional and includes a cute little hook on one side and drawers on the other. The video tutorials are broken apart into two sections. It may seem involved, but it's incredibly amazing to see this upcycling project come together!

In Part 4, We have a quick project showing you how to make a rolling garment rack. This is a great prop for backstage, a store scene, or a dream dressing room! Along with that, we'll wrap up the topic with a look at how to pull it all together with a few show-stopping accessories!
About The Curriculum: You will receive a PDF course guide with information and video download links. The content for the course is broken down into a four-part series, each with in-depth video instruction. The videos can be streamed online or downloaded for offline viewing.
