This pattern is to make a stylish summer dress for that special doll. The digital download includes a pattern and instructions to make pintucks for the dress bodice front, bias for the trim and shoulder ties and dress assembly. You can use contrasting fabric for the bottom ruffle, ties and trim or just a single fabric for the entire dress. The dress top is fully lined.
This is a perfect pattern for the advanced beginner seamstress. It includes an 11 page pattern with detailed directions and full color assembly photos, 3 pages of printer friendly directions and 1 page of pattern pieces. There is not a pattern piece for the shoulder ties. Directions for cutting out these pieces is given on the cutting instructions page.
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit the 23" My Sunshine cloth dolls such as the Lena doll. It will also it 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
