A favourite sweater pattern is now ready for 6 1/2" dolls such as American Girl® Minis or similar sized dolls. It is an easy knit for beginners and even the most experienced knitters will enjoy the simplicity of the pattern. Knit from the neck down, it only requires a bit of sewing for the sleeve seams. The pretty open pattern borders the sleeves and the body of the sweater.
If you like to have matching outfits for your dolls you will love this sweater. It is available for 18" dolls as well as 14 1/2" dolls so makes the perfect pattern for 'Sister Sweaters' or 'Dolly & Me Sweaters.' It is sure to complement any of your dolls' wardrobes.
There are two styles of the sweater included in the pattern by My AG Doll Creations. The first one is hip-length with four buttons which allows it to hang slightly open at the bottom. A very nice length for tights or pants. The second version is a little shorter with five buttons so that it closed right to the waist. Pairs nicely with a skirt as it just covers the waistband.
The instructions are easy to follow and there are pictures to illustrate so no need to guess how it should look. Each row has a set of brackets which allow you to mark off the rows as you go so you won't loose your place. For the more experienced knitters there is a written summary of the pattern.
Be prepared though as this pattern can be very addicting so you are apt to want to make it over and over again. Hope you enjoy it!
