Botas Review

I give this pattern 4.5 stars. The finished fit is lovely. The instructions need to use a lighter contrast example.. the step of attaching the sides to the front toe section was impossible to see. Once I carefully looked at the finished product on the picture, though, I was able to figure it out. I would ask the provider to either use lighter contrast fabric, add matching notches on the pattern pieces , or create a YouTube session. That aside, I plan on making quite a wardrobe of boots for my niece’s doll!

Botas 18” doll boots

I made these with some brown suede and lined them with an animal print fur. They turned out quite nice and fit the doll very well. I’m pleased with the fit.

Botas

Loved the finished product but found the instructions somewhat intimidating at times. I think it would be better if more contrasting colors of fabric were used in the example

Bota Boots

These look adorable but I have been struggling with the directions. The pictures on page 8 and 9 do not help much. I am an experienced sewer and have made many of the other patterns offered through pixiefaire without difficulty, but I am frustrated with this pattern. I will keep trying.
