Dress: medium weight woven fabric such as Liberty Quilting Cotton or Chambray or light weight woven fabric such as Dimity and Cotton Lawn
Lining Fabric: very light weight fabric such as Batiste
Leggings Fabric: 2-way stretch or 4-way stretch knits
Supplies Needed:
Yardage for Dress:
- Main Fabric: 1/8 yard or 6”x4.5” (bodice) and 18”x3.5” (skirt)
- Lining: 6”x4.5”
Yardage for Leggings:
- Knit fabric: 5.5”x 8"
- 12 inches of 3/8” wide stretch lace (Stretch Lace Option)
- 12 inches of 1/4” double sided sticky tape (Fold Over Hem Option)
Notions:
- Thread to match fabric and stretch lace (leggings)
- 2 small snaps
- Turning tool, hemostat, or very small safety pin
- Doll sized pressing tools, wooden spoon
- Fine point disappearing ink fabric marker
- Pinking shears (optional for leggings)
- Walking Foot for sewing on knits (optional)
- Small pliers (optional)
