This adorable skirt, by Little Miss Muffett, has a top-stitched Basque with an elasticized waist. The gathered wrap section is finished with a ruffled strip of frayed fabric at hem edge. An optional button, ribbon rose or ribbon bow at the hip, completes the skirt. Using woven fabric such as Denim, Linen or Quilter’s Cotton, create a variety of gorgeous skirts by changing the color of the ruffle or Basque; or try gathered lace in place of fabric for the ruffled edge, the options are endless. This easy PDF pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.
