The new Liberty Jane Euro Libby: Glaziers Hall Holiday dress designed to fit 18 inch dolls is a modern take on the classic A-line dress style with a holiday twist! Lace overlay and tiny embellishments elevate the level of fashion and style, creating a standout piece for your doll!
Design features include an a-line silhouette, dainty ruffle along the neckline, a separate dress lining, lace overlay that extends past the hemmed lining edge, and the sleeves feature a bell style with the same selvage edge finish. Dress closes in the back with hook and loop or snaps and buttons for show.
To achieve the desired look, the lace looks best if it’s cut with the raw edge hanging past the lining, either cut carefully along the lace motif or using the selvedge edge if it has a decorative type scalloped effect.
The PDF sewing pattern includes a variety of options. The dress can be made with lace as shown in View A, or with a mother type of overlay like chiffon, pictured in View B. It can also be made in a more everyday style View C with cotton or cotton lawn and be self lined. Although this is presented as a holiday dress, it can also be a lovely little spring or summer dress with the appropriate fabric choice!

Supplies Needed:
• 1 yard lace fabric for overlay/self (for View A or B) cut along the decorative selvage. If cut on grain only 1/3 yard is needed.
• 1/3 yard fabric for lining (for View A or B)
• 2/3 yard fabric (if self lined, View C)
• 15” of 1/4” ribbon for optional neckline detail (View B)
• Size 4/0 Snaps - optional 3 3/8” buttons
• Hook and loop tape (if not using snaps, View C)
• Sewing Machine
• Iron and pressing tools
