These little shoes are just too cute. I purchased the pre-cut shoe soles, and in my opinion, this is why they came together fairly quickly. I chose a crocheted ribbon and a woven lace ribbon to make my shoes. The crochet has a lot more give than the woven fabric so the crocheted shoe is much looser than the other. It is a bit of work to get the woven shoe onto my Heart 4 Hearts doll's feet.The attached tab on the back of the shoe comes in handy for pulling on the shoe. So If I use another tight weave ribbon again, I may cut the pattern pieces at least 1/8th of an inch larger for more ease of fit on the doll's foot. I'm very impressed with the designers imaginations to make such detailed pattern to scale for dolls. I will definitely be making more of these shoes.
