The Liberty Jane® Euro Libby: Piccadilly Peacoat PDF Pattern will delight your 14.5-inch Welliewishers™ Doll!
Your doll will be ready to jump on the London bus and head straight to Piccadilly Circus in this adorable fully lined peacoat. This is a classic with a twist - charming inset pleats along the back, finished with a belt.
The double-breasted front features one or two rows of functional buttons so your doll can wear her coat open or buttoned up. Decorative welt pockets run along topstitched princess seams. Cuffs are accented with tiny buttons.
Suggested fabrics include wool, wool knit blends, suiting type fabrics, corduroy or velveteen. We used a lightweight wool knit which tailors beautifully with a little steam from the iron. A cotton lining was used to line the coat but a poly or rayon lining would also work nicely.

Skill Level: Intermediate You will need the basic understanding of how to use a sewing machine and be familiar with sewing straight seams as well as curved seams. Jacket has three or six functional buttons, you will need a buttonhole foot attachment for your machine or know how to sew them by hand. Snaps can be sewn with non-functional buttons as an optional design choice.
