This versatile romper or dress is a fresh spin on a classic style. The pattern includes multiple options: Fully lined tie up bodice, two dress lengths, pants or capris with elastic, shorts or capris with ties.
Special Note - This PDF sewing pattern by QTπ Pattern Co is designed to fit a Kidz N Cats® Doll specifically and will not fit the standard 18 inch doll such as American Girl® Doll. Recommended Fabrics: Dress: Medium-weight cotton/lycra knits, medium polyester knits. Not suitable for one-way patterns. The knit should stretch from 4”to 5” (See stretch guide) Knits should be sturdy and retain shape after being stretched. Lightweight woven fabrics, such as chambray, quilting cottons, and batiks. Not suitable for overly lightweight knits. Rompers: Lightweight woven fabrics, such as chambray, quilting cottons, batiks and knits with minimal or no stretch.
Supplies Needed:Dress:
-½ yard fabric (see suggested fabrics)
-Knit-n-Stable tape (optional)
-7 ½” - ¼” or ⅜” elastic
Rompers:
-⅓ yard Fabric (see suggested fabrics)
-7 ½” - ¼” or ⅜” elastic (18” for elastic cuffs)
Tools:
-Sewing machine needle suitable for fabric
-Rotary cutter and mat (optional)
-Pinking shears (suggested)
-Thread
-Point turner (suggested)
