This overskirt by Thimbles and Acorns has a cut away feature that gives it a lovely layered effect. The lining creates an interesting contrast effect with the folds of the pleats. The waistband snaps on the side, hiding the opening underneath the pleat. It is designed to be worn with Thimbles and Acorns 16" or 18" 1870s Bustle Dress and can be worn with or without a bustle. It is also suitable to be worn with other Victorian or Steampunk styled skirts and bodices.
This PDF sewing pattern is sized to fit American Girl®, A Girl for All Time®, and other similarly sized dolls.
