The poncho closes in the front with two buttons and falls at elbow length on the arm, dipping down to just below waist length at the center front and center back. This shape is beautifully echoed in the triangular shaped flares along the lower skirt edge. The skirt is a pull-on that fits perfectly, no elastic needed.
