Is your doll a Sporty Girl? Does she love her martial arts? This is a wonderful Karate Uniform for her. It is a nice fitting pattern but still fits loose enough for the doll to easily move into her Karate positions in.
The pattern includes the Jacket, Pants, two Belt options and Kick Pad. The belts can be made from fabric or you can use ribbon or strapping to complete a set.
The Kick Pad sits perfectly on her arm and hand. It is easy to do but the last part gets a little tricky which is why it is marked as intermediate.
Pattern Play - If you use flannel or fun printed cotton you can make easily make pajamas using this pattern!
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit most 18 inch dolls such as American Girl®, South African Girl Doll©, and Journey Girls® Dolls.
Recommended Fabric: Outfit - Medium weight woven fabrics. Cotton. Kick Pad – Vinyl. or Heavy weight fabric like denim.

-For the Belts:
1. Fabric for each color belt – 3” x 25”
2. 3/4" to 1” wide Grosgrain Ribbon or Strapping – 24” per color
Belt Colors: White, Red, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Purple, Brown and Black
-Matching threads for uniform and each belt color
-3/8” wide elastic – 10.5”
-Loop Turner
-Fabric Pencil or Pen Marker
-Iron and ironing board
For Kick Pad:
-Vinyl – 4.5” x 8” Rectangle
-1/4” wide elastic – Black – 6.25”
-Hand sewing Needle and Thimble
-Small handful of stuffing
