This pattern by Dollhouse Designs will create realistic looking (and great fitting) horsey apparel for your 20" Adult & 13" Foal (Baby) toy horses made by: American Girl®, Our Generation® and My Life®.
These sew up quickly in lightweight denim, cottons, wool, flannel, or other types of woven fabrics. Equines are also known to love dressing up occasionally in special finery, so lace, jewels, and silk flowers may be added to a young heart’s content.
This PDF sewing pattern includes accessories in 5 sizes to fit 3 major brands of toy horses (American Girl® - Our Generation® & My Life®). The leg wraps are shaped specifically for front and back legs. The blankets feature a strap closure underneath the horse's belly. There are a variety of ways shown to make your creation unique.
Recommended Fabrics: Woven fabric or large remnant- Cotton, Eyelet, Lightweight Denim & Chambray, Flannel, Quilters, etc. plus Lining Fabric for some views

Blanket – 13” Foal -1/4 yard or Remnant of fabrics listed above
Leg Wraps – Remnant of Woven fabric
Lining – 1/3 yard or Remnant of very lightweight silky lining fabric or lightweight cotton
Bias Tape or Trim – Blanket - 2 yards for full size 20” horses; 1 ½ yards for 13” horses
Closures - As desired. I recommend thin, non- snagging hook and loop tape
Notions –
Ribbon, Embroidered Ribbon, Lace, Gathered Trims, etc. as desired for embellishment
