The simple outline of this 1930s Depression Era dress is dolled up with a few special details that make it charming enough for a child star. The dress is a basic knee-length a-line with short, delicately puffed sleeves. The dress opens all the way in the back and fastens with four buttons for easy dressing. The focal point is a pleated front insert finished on either side with a series of points that are secured to the dress with decorative buttons. As a finishing touch, the collar and sleeve cuffs are cut in points that echo the front detail.
