Dressing Baby... for a Stroll in Regency Park Doll Clothes Pattern for 8" Baby Dolls

2 reviews   |

Dress up your baby doll in this gorgeous empire waist gown for a stroll in any elegant Regency Park!

The short sleeve gathers up with ribbon and button detail, and the gown's skirt has decorative tucks. The bodiced petticoat beneath the gown adds volume to the long skirt and ties in back, a historically accurate way to dress fast growing babies.

Protect baby's face from the sun with a lacy, ruffled bonnet that can be worn with or without ties. Ruffled cap is slightly large on baby, as was popular during the early 19th Century, and has twill tape covered seam allowances, a historical sewing method to ensure even the inside of all garments were comfortable for baby.

When baby is old enough to start learning to walk, shorten the gown and petticoat to toddler length!
