1774 Colonial Elegance Dress 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

21 reviews   |

Does your doll pretend to live in colonial times?  Do you need to make her some new dress-up clothes? Fashioned by Rebecca's Colonial Elegance captures the style of the late 1770′s perfectly!

The Colonial Elegance PDF Dress Pattern from Fashioned by Rebecca designed to fit 18 inch dolls such as American Girl® was inspired by the colonial fashion era. The pattern has been updated and the pieces have been "tweaked" for a better fit and a more enjoyable sewing experience.

The pattern is for a two piece ensemble, consisting of the lined bodice and the fully lined skirt. The first piece, the bodice is lined for a professional looking finish. It has ten tiny eyelets and a criss-crossing ribbon tie. The ruffle on the collar and sleeves are gathered. The top bodice closes in the back with hook and loop tape. The second piece is the skirt: it is gathered all around. Encased in the skirt waistband is elastic, making it easy to put on your doll.

Please note that this sewing pattern is not historically correct.
