Recommended Fabrics: Dress: Light weight cotton, batiste, silk dupioni; Overskirt: Fine mesh or organza
Supplies Needed:
-1/3 yard light weight woven fashion fabric for the dress
-1/3 yard fine mesh or organza for overskirt
-Matching (or contrasting) sewing thread
-1 inch 3/8" hook & loop tape
-Fine point disappearing ink marker, pencil, or fine point Sharpie®
-2 snaps: size 1 (for little hands) or smaller
-Embellishment: Bows, buttons, beads, bling!
Optional Items:
-For hem: 1/4" Lite EZ Steam two-sided fusible tape (or other double sided fusible tape)
-Instead of belt: 28" of 3/8" or 1/2" ribbon
-Small piece of light to medium weight fusible interfacing for bodice
-Quilting tools for cutting mesh: cutting board, rotary cutter, quilting grid
-Fray Check®
