The Criss Cross Skirt is the skirt your doll will choose all the time!. It can be worn as a skirt to a party or a skort with shorts for a bike ride. It can be even be an everyday skirt with the cute fabric ruffle or a dressier skirt with the lace ruffle.
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit a 14-14.5" dolls such as Hearts For Hearts Girls® and WellieWishers™.
It is also available for 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
Supplies Needed:
SKIRT WITH FABRIC RUFFLE
- 1/4 Yard or fat quarter of woven fabric,
-3 inches of 3/8 inch
hook and loop tape and matching thread
SKIRT WITH LACE RUFFLE
- 1/4 yard or fat quarter of woven fabric,
-3 inches of
hook and loop tape,
-1 yard of 1 inch gathered lace trim and matching thread
SHORTS
-6 inches x 14 inches of knit fabric like t-shirt fabric with some stretch across the width of the fabric
-6 inches of 1/4 inch elastic
-matching thread
-1 inch square scrap of woven fabric
