The “Dora” doll dress, by Genniewren Designs, has a hint of Euro styling with its mix of print fabrics and optional ruffles. The optional apron adds an extra touch of Euro country style cuteness. The full gored skirt definitely has the “twirl” factor.
The sleeveless dress has a lined, square necked bodice. The bodice can be edged with rick rack or piping if required. The gathered skirt is created from eleven gored panels.
View A has a ruffled skirt. View B has a plain skirt. Either view leaves plenty of scope for your imagination to run riot with your choice of mix and match prints and trimmings.
The optional apron can be edged with trim or hemmed with a narrow hem. It is large enough for a machine embroidery design if desired.
The dress fastens at the center back bodice. Instructions are given for buttons, snaps or hook and loop tape.
