Mini Space Patches Set 1 - Machine Embroidery Design by Genniewren Designs. Does your doll want to explore the darkest regions of space, or seek out new civilizations, going boldly where no doll has gone before? If so, he or she might need a flight suit or space suit, and every astronaut needs patches on their uniform, right?
This set of mini space themed designs contains 10 different designs, plus one mirrored design, making 11 designs in all. The set includes a planet style logo and a “worm text” patch for the completely fictitious American Aero Space Agency, a circular rocket patch, a star grid design, a five sided patch with stars and planets, a US flag, a UK flag and 3 text patches for different ranks of space personnel. The 11th design is a mirror image of the US flag, which is also included for use with military style flight suits and uniforms.
All four text patches are set up as applique designs so that you can change the fabric background, or apply them directly to your doll’s clothing if desired. The other patch designs are filled designs with the background sewn to give the patches an authentic look.
Space designs are perfect for using on uniforms and costumes and add a fun focal point for both boys and girls.
These designs are all manually digitized to avoid jump stitches wherever possible, and to enhance your general embroidery experience. The only jump stitches are between on contiguous areas of a color where a travelling stitch would be visible (e.g. stars, or between letters in text designs).
Instructions on how to turn an embroidery design into an iron on patch are also included. You will need to purchase a permanent fusible web product to do this. The permanent fusible webs are labelled “non-sew”. Please do not buy the “lite” fusible web products as they are not permanent, they are designed purely to hold fabric in place while you sew it.
A second set of space patches is also available. The second set includes a variety of space related designs including space craft, space labs, planets, and even an astronaut doing a space walk.
