Make your top with shoulder trim, a triangular panel, both, or no trim. The shorts have contrasting side panels with an option to embellish the side panels with ribbon. Add iron-on or embroidered letters, numbers, and motifs. Use your team, school, or favorite colors and have fun creating a great little uniform for your doll.

Recommended Fabrics: Ponte knit , sport mesh , or knit of similar weight and stretch
Supplies Needed:
- 1/4 yard primary fabric*
- 1/6 -1/4 yard secondary fabric*
- 1 yard 1/2 –5/8 inch wide grosgrain ribbon or twill tape (optional for trim)
- 1/8 yard or small scrap ribbing for neck and sleeve bands
- 4.75 inch length of 1/4 - 3/8 inch wide hook/loop tape (one length each of hook side and loop side)
- 6.5 inch length of 1/4 inch wide elastic
- Small safety pin for inserting elastic
- Contrasting or matching thread
- Optional: Iron-on numbers, letters, motifs, etc. or machine embroidery designs
* Fabric yardage depends upon distribution of pattern pieces. The top back will need to be cut from a 1/4 yard piece of fabric to accommodate the length of the top back.
