Provide the accessories your doll needs to go with her outfit for almost any era with items made from this “Dress it Up” accessory pattern. This pattern includes Short Gloves, Long Gloves, Purse, and Calling Cards.
Whether your doll needs short white gloves for Sunday school, or elegant long gloves for a ball at Downton Abbey, she will be properly attired. Also included in the PDF sewing pattern is a fringe trimmed purse and calling cards to slip inside it when your doll goes on social visits.
The gloves are made from a stretchy knit. Made to fit the hands of 18" dolls such as American Girl ®, they have fingers, and are embellished with lace trim and a tiny bow. They can be made long and elegant, or short and sweet.
The purse is made from a coordinating fabric, trimmed with lace, and cinched with ribbon. It is just big enough to insert your calling cards, which can be personalized with your doll’s name.
Instructions for making the gown can be found at Pixie Faire in the pattern called “Edwardian Fancy”, and instructions for the 1950’s dress can be found in the pattern “Fifties Favorite”. This pattern can also be purchased as a bundle with the Edwardian Fancy and Heirloom Hat patterns.
