This PDF sewing pattern by QTπ Pattern Co is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
Recommended Fabrics: Main Fabric: Light-weight knits or light-weight sweater knits with moderate stretch, rayon (pre-washed) and lightweight polyesters with drape. Cuffs, Waistband and Neckband: Light weight knits or sweater knits with stretch (must stretch from 4” to 5”). Lace: Stretch lace trim, Light-weight cluny lace or lace fabric. Avoid lace that has large open areas. The lace does not need to have stretch, but should not be stiff.
Supplies Needed:
- ¼ yard of main fabric (see suggested fabrics)
- 30” of 2 ¼” - 2 ½” wide lace trim or
- ⅛ yard of lace
- Scrap of non-woven fusible interfacing or
- Knit-n-Stable tape (optional
- ¼” fusible quilters tape (optional)
- Thread
- Ball point needle (size 10-12)
- 1 set of sew-in snaps
