A Kippah, also referred to as a yarmulke (pronounced Ya-ma-kah), is a brimless cap worn by all men in Orthodox Jewish communities during prayers and by most Orthodox Jewish men at all other times. Among non-Orthodox Jewish communities, some who wear them do so at all times, while others wear them only during prayer, while attending a synagogue, or in other rituals like Hanukkah, Passover, and Bar Mitzvahs.
The cap is made in 4 sections and fully lined. It's pretty simple to sew, but labeled as intermediate because of the curves and attention to side seam notches.
