This pattern by BramBelles Boutique is a versatile pattern for using up woven fabric scraps and 6-inch charm squares as well as being ‘Fat Quarter Friendly’. There is only one pattern piece that can be flipped to tessellate on an all-over design or it can be ‘fussy cut’ from striped or border print to create a pattern effect. Alternatively, you can cut specific motifs from a large feature print. You can also play with colour and shading, and if you choose fabrics carefully it can also be made reversible to give a whole different effect.
This pattern will also fit several other dolls with head circumferences of 12 or 13 inches.
Recommended Fabrics: Fabric choices can include firm woven cottons such as poplin, quilting cottons, denim, pinwale corduroy, lightweight canvas and duck, unbleached calico, gabardine, linen, and similar fabrics.
Supplies Needed:
- 2 pieces fabric 21”x 6” (One each for lining and outer shell) or smaller scraps approx. 5”x 6” when measured on the straight grain
- Matching thread
