Senor Pequeno 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

4 reviews   |

Senor Pequenoby Little Miss Muffett – an adorable outfit for boys to celebrate Cinco de Mayo; consisting of Tunic, Pants and Poncho. The tunic is loose-fitting with dropped-shoulders; it has a faced front neck slit, side slits, long or short sleeves and closes with hook and loop tape in back. The Long or Short Pants have an elasticized waist and flat felled seams have been topstitched on the sides to add interest. Both garments are top-stitched and have optional binding trim. The fringed Poncho has two ‘sleeve’ lengths and closes with hook and loop tape in back. The neck has top-stitched detail, is faced and the collar points are tacked down to keep them open. A link for instructions to make a lasso has also been included. This relatively easy and versatile pattern is designed to fit 18” modified soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.

This pattern did not disappoint!!

Have been wanting to sew this for some time, as a complement to my Southwestern outfits for 18" girl dolls....finally got a break so I could make it this week! I found it very easy to make, and only had a little confusion about the size of the bias strips, but the pattern's author cleared that up for me. (Thank you, Margie!) Looking forward to making more sets using these patterns.

Fun

I tested the pattern and used a flanel to do pajamas for my little AG boy. Was a quick and easy outfit done on a Saturday afternoon. Great fun
