The KNC doll can vary in size around the waist and chest because of manufacturing design changes of the doll over the years. This pattern is designed to pull everything together, Simplicity, Style and a Great Fit! The dress design has an empire waist, is fully lined and can be made from a variety of fabrics. You can dress it up with delicate or sparkly fabrics and accessories, or keep it casual with solid colors and simple knit fabrics. Layer the dress over a cute tank top for Summer or pair it with a cropped jacket or a wool coat and leggings for Fall. There are also simple instructions to use this pattern to make a top or a longer maxi dress.
Special Note - This pattern is designed to fit a Kidz N Cats Doll specifically and will not fit the standard 18 inch doll such as American Girl Doll. A KNC doll is 18 inches tall but has a much slimmer hard plastic body. You can see more info on our Doll Measurements page.
