Take your doll for a "Walk in the Park" in any of these pinafore variations. The pinafores range from classic to contemporary... perfect for any doll from any era. This PDF pattern consists of three different pinafore patterns and includes a dress to wear underneath them.
View A has a pinafore bib that has a classic flutter sleeve ruffle. The full skirt is finished with a ruffle, and optional rick-rack embellishment finishes the look. View B utilizes an eyelet fabric. It has a square neckline with flutter sleeves made from the border of the eyelet. The skirt of the pinafore also has the eyelet edge. View C has a sweetheart neckline with a contrast scallop edging. The skirt is faced with the scallop edging and embellished with a cotton lace. Special (easy!) instructions are given to create the scallop edging. Also included is the dress pattern. It has a natural waistline, puff sleeves with a band, and a peter pan collar.
The pattern pieces are drawn with a CAD program, and include highly detailed step-by-step instructions with pictures to guide you through the sewing process. This pattern is sized to fit dolls with a chest size of 11-12". Many variations in body size can be accommodated with minor modifications or simply by adjusting the closure placement..
The instructions are designed to be printed as a booklet, or they can be printed full size and placed in a notebook, or simply stapled together. Both versions print on 8-1/2" x11" paper. A summary of the instructions is also included, if you do not want to print the entire document.
