The Marlene Slippers© is the fourth in The Starlet Collection patterns. This unique open side slipper is designed to coordinate wonderfully with The Marlene Dress from Sharp Dressed Dolls as well as many other dresses. The slippers are designed to fit 18” dolls such as American Girl®.
They may be made non-sew using vinyl and may be top stitched to add a more finished appearance. They may also be machine sewn using light to medium-weight cotton, and anchored to precut foam or acrylic soles. The slippers may be embellished with the beaded side strap or the machine shadow work bow from the free diamond and bow set, designed by Genniewren Design and myself or with an embellishment of your choice.
Recommended Fabrics: Vinyl, light-weight denim, 100% cotton (light to medium-weight) quilting fabric, linen and satin.

Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Cardstock printer paper (for tracing the vinyl pattern)
One set of the following:
2mm Craft Foam sheet or Pixie Packs Shoe Soles Artisan Resource and (pre-cut chipboard)
Pixie Packs Shoe Soles --- 6MM and (pre-cut chipboard)
Pixie Packs Shoe Soles --- die cut Acrylic soles and (pre-cut chipboard)
Pattern pieces are included if making your own soles and chipboard
