Piccadilly PJs 14.5 Inch Doll Clothes Pattern

12 reviews   |

These cute and cozy Liberty Jane pajamas designed to fit 14.5 inch WellieWishers™ dolls are a fast and easy sewing project - perfect for a beginner!

The top includes a raglan sleeve design and can be made with a contrasting fabric for the front. Chiffon, silk, or even a stretch lace will also work nicely as an optional overlay as well. Using a sweatshirt or fleece knit with no overlay will make a great basic top! Binding on the neck, cuffs, and waist solve the problem of stretched out hems! This design can work well for a boy or a girl doll too.

The basic pull on pajama pants can be made from a woven non-stretch fabric like cotton or flannel. Mix and match patterns to coordinate with the top! The design goes together quickly and is easy to sew with a few straight seams and a simple elastic casing.

Create a variety of outfits with these two versatile pieces. There are so many wonderful options to play with!

Special Note:  This PDF pattern is designed to fit a 14.5 inch WellieWishers™ Doll specifically.

Overall good with modifications

As mentioned in other reviews...the partial opening in the back made it impossible for me to get on over the dolls head. And the cuffs seem a bit tight, but did work (tried on before sewing up the back). So getting ready to remake top with Velcro opening in back. Additionally, since I'm doing Velcro closure on the back I'm going to make back opening a 1/4" wider to allow for overlap of Velcro. Shirt seems to snug not to do this.
