    So cute

I finished the head and so far it’s a super cute pattern. The tails were a little tedious. I now have three patterns by this designer and I would enjoy much more instructions and maybe photos. So far super cute I’m using Benzie designs felt and buttons for eyes. I’ll review again when I’m done.

    First try

The pattern was good, of course small pieces are rather fussy to cut. I traced around the cut out pattern pieces with a pencil and cut inside the outline, I made a mark on the side I traced and used that as the inside just in case I missed a bit of pencil mark. For stuffing I found tweezers very helpful, I borrowed my husband's "pinch to open" tweezers he uses for his model hobbies. A narrow ended wooden chopstick, with the end ruffed up, is ideal for pushing the stuffing down into the doll. The picture shows the "tails" stuffed but doesn't address that in the instructions. The blush on the cheeks is cute but not mentioned, I think I will use my blush make-up. I ordered my wool felt from "thefeltpod.com". They have over 50 colors and you can order a roll 5"x36" for a very reasonable price and with fast shipping. Good quality, the perfect weight for these toys. Overall this is a fun project, especially for this time when we have to stay home. I have ordered some of the very cute animals to make. Happy Stitching.
