1970s First Formal 18" Doll Clothes

3 reviews   |

Who can forget going to their first "Formal?"  This pattern is based on a dress I wore to mine, back in the '70s.  I felt so grown up!

The Flossie Potter 1970s First Formal is short dress (high-thigh length) with empire waist and bishop's sleeves.  It has a stand-up lace collar, lace trim on the fitted cuffs, and an optional ribbon with front bow.

The PDF sewing pattern contains 12 pages of step-by-step instructions with full-color illustrations, full-size pattern pieces, and 3 pages of printable summary instructions (to let you save on printer ink).

When you make this dress for your doll's first formal, she'll feel grown up, too!
