Special note from the designer: On September 13th, 1997, 20 years ago, a US Air Force C-141 Starlifter had a mid-air collision off the coast of West Africa.  They had delivered UN humanitarian supplies and Army personnel to Windhoek Namibia and were returning to Ascension Island when the collision occurred.  There were 9 US service members on that flight at the time and there were no survivors.  One of those men was my brother-in-law Robert Evans.  This little flight suit is meant as a tribute to those who lost their lives that day and to all the men and women who have served and are serving this great country of ours.  Thank you for your service.

Note: Example images of boys in tan jumpsuits were created using this pattern but the backpacks were custom for the photoshoot.
