This pattern includes full color photographs and step-by-step directions to make this historical baseball doll. Pattern includes a 23" cloth doll that is wearing a baseball uniform, hat, and glove. Dress looks best sewn with cotton and hat works best with a lightweight canvas. Sewing the patch and hat can be tricky, so there are alternate directions for these pieces.
The baseball uniform, hat, and glove will also fit most popular 18" dolls.
This pattern is the third in a series of Women in History patterns that celebrate the strong, brave women who have been inspirations to all women. Doll is inspired by two amazing women who played in the All American Girls Professional Baseball League during WWII.
I hope that these dolls will inspire young girls everywhere to go for what they want!

- 1 fat quarter in skin color for face, body, legs and arms
- 1 fat quarter for socks and hat
- ½ yd of fabric for dress
- 1 yd of extra wide double fold bias tape for hat and belt
- 1 set of ½” D-rings for belt
- 1 piece of stiff interfacing
- Small piece of lightweight interfacing
- 1 piece of felt for hair
- 1 small piece of felt for shoes
- 1 piece of felt for glove
- 1 small piece of faux suede for glove
- 1 scrap piece of felt for mouth
- 2 ½” buttons for dress
- 2 small snaps for dress
- Fabric marker
- Stuffing
- Thread
- Embroidery thread
- Sewing needle
- Doll needle (3 ½” to 4” long)
