From sidewalk to sand, this 1940's-inspired crop top and shorts set is perfect for a walk around town or a game of beach volleyball with friends.
The top's bodice is fully lined with instructions for a button-up closure or a hook and loop tape closure, you choose. The shorts offer a cute button side closure and an elastic waistband in the back for a nice fit around the waist. Although this is an intermediate level pattern, it goes together very quickly.
This PDF pattern is designed to fit 18” dolls such as American Girl®.
Recommended Fabrics: Lightweight Woven Fabric, Seersucker, Lightweight Denim

-1/2 yard of lightweight, woven fabric
-1/4 yard of lightweight, woven fabric for lining
-Matching thread
-Four 3/8" buttons for top and two for shorts (or a 3 1/4" long piece of hook and loop tape for top, optional)
-4" piece of 1/4" elastic
-Marking pencil
-Tracing wheel and marking paper
