Edwardian Fall 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

4 reviews   |

This relatively easy PDF pattern, by Little Miss Muffett, offers a charming little outfit which is based on an Edwardian style for little girls. Although not historically correct, it is perfect for today’s 18” Miss to wear on cooler days. The pretty, clean lines of the dress, finished off with lace at the neck, cuff and hem edges, has Broderie Anglaise sleeves, which is also repeated in the make-up of the Pinafore. A tiny ribbon bow completes the front neck edge. The fully lined Pinafore has ruffles at the hem edge and ties at the back with ribbon. This pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.

Recommended Fabrics:  Cotton, Taffeta (fabric of Choice for the Dress); Broderie Anglaise for the Pinafore and Lightweight Cotton or Muslin for the Pinafore Lining.

This pattern is also available for 14.5" dolls such as WellieWishers™

Supplies Needed:
Fabric Requirements – I used Quilter’s Cotton for the dress body and upper sleeves of the Lavender and Moss colored dresses while Taffeta was used for the Red dress; Broderie Anglaise was used for the lower sleeves.
