This is Karina's Cozy Sweater for 16 inch A Girl For All Time® and other similar sized dolls. It is an easy knit perfect for beginners but also for experienced knitters. Knit from the neck down, it only requires a bit of sewing for the sleeve seams. Simple and pretty open pattern borders the sleeves and body of the sweater.
If you like to have matching outfits for your dolls you will love this sweater. It is also available for 18" dolls such as American Girl® so it makes the perfect pattern for 'Sister Sweaters'.
There are two styles of the sweater included in the pattern by My AG Doll Creations. The first one is hip-length with four buttons which allows it to hang slightly open at the bottom. A very nice length for tights or pants. The second version is a little shorter with five buttons so that it closed right to the waist. Pairs nicely with a skirt as it just covers the waistband.
The instructions are easy to follow and there are pictures to illustrate so no need to guess how it should look. Each row has a set of brackets which allow you to mark off the rows as you go so you won't loose your place. For the more experienced knitters there is a written summary of the pattern.
Be prepared though as this PDF knitting pattern can be very addicting so you are apt to want to make it over and over again. Hope you enjoy it!

- size 3 US (3.25 mm) straight needles
- size 6 US (4 mm) straight needles
- 4 stitch markers - row counter (optional)
- 5 small buttons for the Short Version
- 4 small buttons for the Long Version

- needle and matching thread (for buttons)
