Designed to fit 8-inch baby dolls such as Little Bitty Baby™ or American Girl® “Caring for Baby Set” Doll. It can also fit similarly sized 7-8 inch baby dolls, such as those found at Dollar Tree, Target, Madame Alexander (Barnes & Noble) and more.
This pattern is available separately for 15 inch baby dolls such as Bitty Baby®.
Suggested Fabrics: Stretch knit fabrics such as sweatshirt fleece or jersey. Jersey knit OR lightweight woven such as rayon for ruffle
Supplies Needed:
- ¼ yard fabric
- Hook and loop tape
- 5.5” piece of 1⁄8” wide elastic
- Small safety pin
- Tear-away stabilizer
- Thread
- Sewing Machine
- Iron and pressing tools
- Optional Ballpoint or Stretch needle
- Optional—Twin Needle 1.6 mm
Skill Level: Easy/beginner. You will need the basic understanding of how to use a sewing machine and be familiar with sewing straight seams.
