Malt Shop Dress 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

  |

Who doesn’t love visiting an old-fashioned malt shop?

This vintage-style dress, reminiscent of the days when girls wore dresses for any outing, especially going to a malt shop, is a traditional shirtwaist-style dress with a fitted bodice, ruffled trim, a full skirt, optional belt, and a sixties vibe. Choose three-quarter sleeves or sleeveless. Add self-fabric ruffles with the technique shown, or use purchased double-sided lace. Either way, your doll will look retro and charming.

The version in light peach is pictured on a doll with waist measurement of 10 ½”.
