This dress and blouse ensemble is inspired by a design from the 1950’s, but can still be worn today for a fresh new look. The sleeveless dress has a full skirt that can be gathered or softly pleated at the waist. The bodice has a square neckline and is accented with trim made from a contrasting fabric. The dress can be transformed by adding the blouse which features short straight sleeves with a “V” cutout at the hem and a classic pointed peter pan collar. The bottom of the bodice has the same “V” cutouts accented with small bows and it buttons down the back. Add a wink and a nod and this wardrobe is sure to transform your doll into a “Fifties Flirt.”
