"Becka's Dress" is the Flossie Potter doll-sized version of a 1957 girl's dress by Marian Martin. It was suggested by a fan of Pixie Faire patterns, who sent a photo to me.
The dress features puffed short sleeves with cuffs, and a squared sweetheart neckline formed by two overlapping front bodice pieces. Two curves in the proper right bodice display decorative buttons. The round skirt falls beneath a curved front sash that ties in back. For an optional look, the front of the sash can continue as a panel to the hem.
Making this dress can be a fun way to mix and match fabrics from your remnant stash! It's also a great dress to make with holiday colors!
