This Waterfall Bustle is designed specifically to attach to Thimbles and Acorns Victorian Era Bustle Dresses, but is versatile enough to use with just about any dress - or even pants - to add a little Victorian or Steampunk panache. It can be sewn directly to a dress or bodice or attached with snaps or on a waistband as a separate piece.
This PDF sewing pattern is sized to fit 18 inch dolls such as American Girl®. It is available separately for 16 inch A Girl For All Time® dolls.
Recommended Fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabric such as cotton, cotton blends, linen, or silk.

Fabric:
- Outside Bustle Piece and Optional Bias Trim ~ 1/2 yard 45” wide fabric
- Inside Bustle Piece ~ 1/3 yard 45” fabric
Notions:
- Thread
- Optional trim - 2/3 yard 1/2” wide lace OR 2/3 yard 7/8” wide fabric cut on the bias, folded in half lengthwise, and pressed to crease
- Waterfall Bustle - Three medium sized snaps
- Waterfall Bustle with Waistband - One medium sized snap
