What would you risk to cast your vote? If you could be arrested for it, would you bother? Susan B. Anthony felt that the consequences were worth it. She lived in a time where women, especially married women, had very few rights. Although she did not live to see it, Ms. Anthony's tireless campaign for women's suffrage eventually secured the passing of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, granting American women the right to vote.
This 26-page PDF sewing pattern by Flossie Potter includes step-by-step instructions that are illustrated with line drawings to show you how to create this stunning outfit, which is based on a photograph of Susan B. Anthony at the California Campaign in 1896. The ensemble includes a ruffled blouse, fully-lined jacket, and floor-length skirt.
