Princess Jaedyn 18" Doll Clothes

Your 18" doll will look like a princess in this lovely gown! The pattern has an optional overskirt for a dreamy, fairy tale look or make the tea length version without the overskirt for an afternoon garden party with the girls! The pin tucks are perfect, but the bodice is beautiful made out of fashion fabric or lace as well!

This PDF pattern includes directions for the dress, collar, belt, overskirt. It also includes tips for making the bodice into a summer top! So many options!

Recommended Fabrics:  Dress: Light weight cotton, batiste, silk dupioni; Overskirt: Fine mesh or organza

Supplies Needed:
-1/3 yard light weight woven fashion fabric for the dress
-1/3 yard fine mesh or organza for overskirt
-Matching (or contrasting) sewing thread
-1 inch 3/8" hook & loop tape
-Fine point disappearing ink marker, pencil, or fine point Sharpie®
-2 snaps: size 1 (for little hands) or smaller
-Embellishment: Bows, buttons, beads, bling!
Optional Items:
-For hem: 1/4" Lite EZ Steam two-sided fusible tape (or other double sided fusible tape)
-Instead of belt: 28" of 3/8" or 1/2" ribbon
-Small piece of light to medium weight fusible interfacing for bodice
-Quilting tools for cutting mesh: cutting board, rotary cutter, quilting grid
-Fray Check®
