This delightful pattern, by Little Miss Muffett, is for all the aspiring faeries out there. Pretty gossamer wings sit comfortably on the faerie’s back while the pull-on body-suit makes it easy for her to dart from snowflake to flower. Pretty bubble shorts with a big bow in the back, add a cheeky touch to the ensemble. On her day off, she has a beautiful flared skirt, with ruffles aplenty, to wear. The Arm Warmers and off-the-shoulder Body Suit offers the choice of fur trim or plain, for those faeries working in warmer climes. The Bubble shorts have built-in panties and an elasticized waist for easy on and off. The Wings fit under the body suit around the chest and are kept in place with an elastic strap. The Skirt is trimmed with ribbon and lace and closes in the back with a snap fastener on the wide waistband. This easy pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.
Doll Model Size: The AG Doll I use to model my patterns is Julie who has a fuller body. Her measurements for comparison are: Chest - 11 ¼”; Waist - 11”; Hip - 12 ½”; Head Circumference - 12”
Complete the look with the Genniewren Designs Elva Capelet, and the knitted rolled brim hat from the Little Miss Muffett Lacie pattern.
Recommended Fabrics: Fabric Used – Cotton Elastane was used for the Body Suit and Arm Warmers; Taffeta and Cotton for the Bubble Shorts; Quilters’ Cotton for the flared skirt and Organza for the Wings. Medium Weight Fur was used to trim the Neckline of the Bodysuit and Cuffs of the Arm Warmers.
